Stornoway & District Roll of Honour Second World War - Malcolm Macdonald. (2004).
ISBN 0 9531274 4 3. 160 pages. Illustrated. Price: £10.00 each plus £3.00 postage per copy. An meticulously researched record of the 1,200 or so SY servicemen and women who served their country between 1939-45. Over 300 photographs featured.

Herring (2007). 41 pages. Illustrated. A4 Ringbound Format. A pack of four workshops on aspects of the herring fishing industry, herring girls, coopers and fish merchants, boats and fishing methods. Designed for children of primary school age this workbook is available to local schools and libraries. Please contact the Society for further details. Not on sale to the public.

Mary's Story (2007).  22 pages. Illustrated. This booklet was designed as an introduction to young children to the history of Stornoway. The story takes place in 1913, a year which marked a watershed in the history of Stornoway and Lewis, both of which were changed forever by the onset of World War I in 1914 and the loss of HMY Iolaire in 1919. These themes could be continued from Mary's story, and further suggestions for discussion are offered at the end of the booklet which is available to local schools and libraries. The Stornoway I Knew - Chrissie B. Maclean (2009). ISBN 978 0 9531274 5 0. 66 pages. Illustrated. Price: £9.00 plus £2.30 postage per copy. A personal account of living in Stornoway during the 1930's, 40's and 50's. Features many local characters and places both in prose and verse along with some rare photographs and illustrations, some of which are previously unpublished.

NEW Fallen War Heroes of Stornoway and District - compiled by Malcolm Macdonald (2014). ISBN 978 0 9531274 6 7. 160 pages. Illustrated. Price: £15.00 plus £3.00 postage per copy. An account of the men and women from Stornoway who gave their lives in service of their country from the Spanish-American War of 1898 to the present day.
